Terry Blade is a singer-songwriter and a two-time recipient of the Global Music Awards - Gold Medal Award of Excellence. A multi-genre artist, his musical work is grounded in his experience as a black queer artist. Having won over 40 awards for his music, Terry is known for his carefully crafted, poignantly composed, and mesmerizing musical compositions that have laid the foundation for his discography and what is to come. He has drawn comparisons to artists such as Meshell Ndegeocello, Tracy Chapman, and Amos Lee (among others). He was born and raised in Washington, DC, and currently resides in Chicago.
